A family legacy,
reborn as Aroma.
For founder Naz, Aroma is more than a takeaway. It is the next chapter of a Winchester story that began with his grandad.
In the late 1980s or early 1990s, Naz’s grandad was among the first people to open an Indian restaurant in Winchester. Called Indian Cuisine, it was a place where he shared food, kindness and generosity, becoming part of the city and leaving a lasting impression on the people he served.
Years ago, he hoped to buy the very Stockbridge Road takeaway that Naz now calls Aroma. The deal fell through, but the dream found its way back to the family. Today, Naz is proud to carry his grandad’s legacy forward while building one of his own. He wants to show Winchester what he can create through hard work, warm hospitality and food made with heart.
